  Today I am explaining what is furnace and air duct cleaning? Mostly people are well aware now that indoor air pollution can creat serious health problems. Many companies are spending millions on marketing of their products(Furnace Cleaning, Air Duct Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning many other residincial and commercial cleanings). You may have  seen an advertisementon your TV or may have received a leaflet and coupon in the mail offering you air duct cleaning service, or may be someone has approached by an e-mail or telephone call telling you cleaning of furnace and air duct is very important. Air ducts and furnace cleaning cost is between $150 to $400 (If no special promotion) depending on the services and the size of house, system accessibility, climatic regon and level of dirt in the house.

When you are planning to cleaning your heating and cooling system, make sure that service provider agrees to clean all components of your heating and cooling system and have proper equipment. Typically, in Calgary air duct cleaner use special tools to clean dirt and other debris in ducts, then they vacuum them out with a high power vacuum(big truck), plus  duct cleaner are applying chemical biocides, designed to kill microbiological contaminants, Air duct cleaner spray inside air vents to control mold growth. In this industry people use a word "Sanitizing" but let me tell you lot-of research is required on this. I met with a professional working in field of environment he said "there is no prof that sanitization will stop the grouth of microbiological contaminant. 

I want to add one thing I see every company is offering free sanitization. This is a big joke. What they do they buy low quality sanitizing spray from market and use it. They spry it two or three time even they know it will not kill germs and Bactria. Cost of Perfect sanitizing with good quality sanitizer is about $80 to $100 but many companies offering free. How? They are not concerned about your health, they want to add some attractive points in marketing so they can make us fool. I recommend never hire a company offering FREE SANITIZING in Alberta. Furnace cleaning and air duct cleaning is very important.
